Independence through technology
Hi, I am Cara. Why did I decide to become a medical engineer? Because I believe that through technical solutions, we are given the opportunity to give people a piece of their independence back. The freedom to shape one's own life is priceless. With my work, I want to contribute to reopen this door to as many people as possible. This motivates me to acquire new skills and explore the boundaries of what is technically feasible. Furthermore, I consider the engineering profession as one of the most creative possible fields of work. Complex problems are to be overcome through practical and innovative technical solutions. This may be challenging at times, but it's what makes me enjoy my work every day. To be prepared for all eventualities, I diversified my education and gained knowledge in manufacturing technology, material sciences, as well as in design, biomechanics, and software design. I enjoy learning and am up for any challenge!

I am particularly passionate about validating new technologies and creating regulatory compliant technical documentation according to MDR and GMP. Interdisciplinary collaboration is second nature to me!
CAD Design & Additive Manufacturing
Whether it is a prototype or a production part - I bring solid experience in computer-aided design (CAD/CAM) and additive manufacturing. My work in material testing and process optimization ensures that innovative ideas are implemented efficiently.
Technical Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
Regulatory requirements are complex, but that is what I love! I have experience in creating precise and compliant technical documentation. Additionally, I analyze scientific data for publications and decision-making processes - evidence-based work is key for me.
